Navratri and Diwali event 2020 cancelled
Gurjar Hindu Union Crawley – Press release
Navratri and Diwali event 2020 cancelled
Jai Shree Krishna, Jai Mataji
The Governors hope that all of our Community of Crawley and surrounding area members are in good health and are managing through these very difficult times.
The crisis we are all living in is unprecedented and worrying for all of us. The COVID-19 situation seemed to be improving for a short while the Governors were monitoring developments closely in case we could offer Navratri and Diwali in any form, albeit restricted. However it is now apparent that we will not be able to hold any events in 2020. This is indeed regrettable but the health and well-being of our members is paramount.
We will do our best to arrange events on Zoom and via Facebook. Please keep an eye out for further communication
We sincerely hope each one of you will continue to keep safe. Whilst the physical wellbeing of our members is important, we are aware the restrictions we are living with may have implications on mental wellbeing too. If any member needs any assistance please feel free to call any one of the governors . We are always happy to talk with you and we will try to guide you in finding appropriate help. Please keep safe. We will get through this terrible crisis with the help of the Almighty.
Finally, we must take the opportunity to applaud our community brothers and sisters and all individuals who are presently in the frontline of NHS dealing with this crisis risking their own lives. We salute you!
